Custom AHU and Pump Replacement

Equipment: Trane Custom AHUs & Armstrong Pumps
Description of Job: Existing AHUs in Annex were installed in the early 1960's. These AHUs exceeded their life expectancy. Galgon HVAC installed temporary AHUs for cooling while replacement was being performed so there was no interruption of cooling requirements. We installed two(2) new Trane Custom AHUs with supply and return fan VFDs. These VFDs will use only the amount of motor horsepower required to keep the building at proper temperature and static air pressure. Furthermore we installed two(2) new chilled water pumps and two(2) new hot water pumps to provide redundancy for the hospital. Installed new piping and new isolation valves.
